The holidays are over and now it is time to relax… or is it?
Here are a few events that are going on around town that you can attend that won’t break the bank!
The Catalyst: Colorado Sculpture is still running until January 12th at the Denver Botanical Gardens. Don’t miss out on seeing 12 Colorado sculptors depict 3-D art in a variety of different colors and textures.
On January 13, 2014 you can enjoy a free day at The Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The Museum is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. The museum is located at 2001 Colorado Boulevard Denver, CO 80205
You can take a stroll down memory lane and the kids will enjoy it too:
Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka- the stage adaptation will run from January 23rd to the 26th at The Colorado Heights Theater 3001 South Federal Boulevard Denver, CO 80236.
Tickets can be purchased at the door to watch the famous candy man try to find the perfect replacement to run his candy shop.
Arvada holds an indoor winter market from January- May every 4th Sunday in Olde Towne from 10am-2pm. At the market you can find all kinds of vendors ranging from handmade crafts to baked goods.
So even though the holidays are over and we are all getting back into the swing of things, it doesn’t mean we have to stop enjoying each other’s company. The Denver Metro area always has a lot of events to offer you and your family. Get out there and see what your city or town has going on.
